Skegness by day has lots to offer, and no doubt you will be making haste to explore locally and walk off the hearty home cooked Ivydene breakfast.
With only 50m to walk to the seafront attactions, (the nearest being the South Bowling Greens) or 300m to the town centre, it won't be long before the holiday mood sets in. If you've brought the children, Skegness is a fantastic little place to spend a few days and if you've managed to escape from them, it's even better!
For the kids, a short walk from the Ivydene brings you to plenty to do. Crazy golf, Kiddies Corner adventure playground, the Model Village, Panda's palace wacky warehouse or the pitch and putt are to name but a few.
For old and young alike the bright lights of the arcades are always a temptation, or maybe a few rides at Botton's pleasure beach for those who are seeking a few thrills.

The boating lakes offer plenty to do and see, hire a paddle boat perhaps, take a look at the ducks and canadian geese, have fun on the bumper boats or just sit and watch the world go by, amongst the beautiful flower beds or by the tranquill waterfall. Set amongst the attractions of the boating lakes, the newly rebuilt Fairy dell paddling pool is just a short walk from the Ivydene, ideal for the little ones to run off a little energy in the sunshine.

Further afield the resorts of Chapel St Leonards, Ingoldmells, Sutton on Sea or Mablethorpe are just a short bus ride or perhaps a day out on the train to the fascinating market town of Boston.
