Is Daily Housekeeping Included In The Room Rate?
Yes, rooms are cleaned and towels changed upon request.
Does The Ivydene Hotel Have Daily On-Site Management?
Yes, there will be a member of management on site 24h a day.
Can I Store My Luggage On The Day Of Departure Until My Transport Arrives?
Yes, space can be provided for luggage on the day you leave until your transport arrives.
Where Can I Park?
We have a small private car park at the rear of the building.
In low season on-street parking is available all day and night. When the car park is full, on-street parking is available all day and night with no time restrictions within 30 metres of the building on Drummond Road. At night the restrictions on Serena Road at the side of the building are lifted from 8pm until 10am the following morning giving us extra parking over night.
Can I Reserve A Parking Space?
In order to provide a fair service to all of our guests, we operate our car park on a first come first served basis, therefore parking spaces cannot be reserved in advance.
Are There Any Loading Restrictions?
No, vehicles may pull up to load and unload luggage or passengers at the front or at the side of the building with no restrictions.
Is Any Disabled Parking Available?
In addition to all of the normal parking spaces, blue badge holders may park on Serena Road at side of the building for up to three hours during the day and unrestricted overnight.
Where Can I Store My Bicycle/Motorbike?
There is storage for bikes, motorbikes and scooters in a locked shed upon request.
How Far Is Ivydene Hotel From Butlins And Fantasy Island?
Butlins is about 2 miles along the coast and Fantasy Island is about 3 miles. A regular bus service runs from Skegness Town Centre to both attractions.
Does The Ivydene Hotel Provide High Chairs?
Yes, we are equipped with high chairs and booster seats in the dining room.
Does The Ivydene Hotel Provide Travel Cots?
Yes, we can provide a travel cot and this service is free of charge.
Is There A Storage Area For Pushchairs, Wheelchairs Etc?
Yes, we provide an area on the ground floor for the storage of pushchairs or prams. Wheelchairs can also be stored in this area.
Where Can I Charge My Mobility Scooter?
An area is set aside to park or charge mobility scooters overnight. We can also provide a mobility scooter for guests to hire if required.
Am I Allowed To Bring Pets?
Sorry for the inconvenience, we cannot allow pets on the premises except for assistance/service dogs.
How Far Is The Ivydene Hotel From Local Amenities?
The Ivydene is just a short walk (100m) to the seafront, 200m to the nearest restaurant, 300m to the nearest pub, and about 400m to the main shopping area of Skegness. The nearest bus stop is located about 300m from the hotel and provides easy access to all major seafront attractions in the area, including Fantasy Island and Butlins.
How Far Is The Ivydene Hotel From The Bus And Railway Interchange?
The Ivydene is not far from the Railway and Bus interchange in Skegness; walking distance is about 600m. A taxi rank is situated just across the road from the railway station and a taxi to The Ivydene Hotel will cost around £3.00
When Can I Check In?
Check-in is available from 2:00pm, early check-in may be available please contact us for details.
Reception will be open from 10am till 8pm.
If you are not able to check-in until later than 8pm please let us know, so that we can arrange for somebody to be available.
